The program covers the entire scope of the 9th grade chemistry course and allows you to make a young user a 'knowledgeable chemist' in 10 minutes of daily lessons.
The simulator has three modes of operation: 'Study', 'Self-test' and Knowledge Control mode.
In the 'Study' mode, the student selects a topic and the simulator generates a task. The next task on the topic may be different from the previous one (each topic includes several hundred tasks, and the computer selects them randomly). In this mode, the student cannot make mistakes (learning is carried out by the method of direct compulsion to internalize knowledge).
The 'Self-test' mode differs from the 'Study' mode in that the student is allowed to make mistakes and is given the opportunity to correct them in order to move on to the next task (learning is carried out by the method of soft compulsion to master knowledge).
In the knowledge control mode, a group of several tasks is formed, the fulfillment of which allows to objectively assess the student's knowledge on the selected topic (the assessment is made by the computer). This mode is especially convenient for motivating the student's activity if there are additional stimulating factors.
The ability to change the size of the working field of the simulator allows you to use it both on an ordinary computer for individual training and in the classroom when using an electronic interactive board.
The proposed educational software product corresponds to the school program on chemistry for the 9th grade and can be used for additional training regardless of the textbook.
Computer system requirements:
MS Windows XP/Vista/7/8,
Pentium IV, 1GHz,
RAM 64 MB,
SVGA monitor, 800x600, true color,
CD-ROM reader 12x,
sound card,
speakers or headphones,
mouse.
