Library of Russian Classics Issue 2 for the first time in a single collection presents all the treasures of literature and art created by Russian culture. In its entirety, the Library of Russian Classics will include collections of works by 100 Russian writers and poets, 50 artists and 25 philosophers. The main task of the series is to make multi-volume collections of works as accessible and user-friendly as possible.
The new disc of the series 'Library of Russian Classics' brings together collections of works by recognized classics of Russian literature of the 19th century - A. Ostrovsky, I. Turgenev, F. Tyutchev, A. Fet.
For the first time in such a volume, the masterpieces that made the glory of Russian classical literature are presented in electronic form. For the first time the collection of A. Ostrovsky's works is published on the basis of the Complete Works published by the State Publishing House of Art Literature in 1950. The entire dramatic heritage of the writer, which laid the foundation of the repertoire of the Russian national theater, is fully represented. In addition to well-known plays, the edition includes diaries, letters, critical works, articles on theater, notes, speeches, little-known and early editions. With the same completeness as the large academic edition, the electronic collection presents the works of I. Turgenev, F. Tyutchev and A. Fet: the reader will be able to rediscover the textbook works, as well as to get acquainted with literary and worldly memoirs, records and notes, works not included in the main collections of the great artists. The new issue of 'Library of Russian Classics' is intended for a wide range of lovers of Russian literature and will be a worthy addition to any library.
