Special cautions. In the presence of hypovitaminosis, which may be accompanied by prolonged use of activated charcoal, it is necessary to prescribe multivitamins. Stool after taking the drug is colored black.
Method of use and dosage. In flatulence and dyspepsia adults take from 1 to 3 tablets 3 - 4 times a day. In case of poisoning the drug is administered orally to adults in a dose of 20 - 30 g per reception in the form of water suspension (1 - 2 glasses of water). This suspension is used for gastric lavage. With hyperacidity, adults are prescribed 1 - 2 g of the drug 3 - 4 times a day. To achieve a rapid and pronounced effect, tablets can be crushed and taken in the form of suspension (0.5 cup of water). The course of treatment in acute diseases is 3 - 5 days, in chronic diseases, which are caused by endogenous intoxication, - 10 - 15 days.
Predosage. Significant excess of maximum single doses leads to side effects: nausea, vomiting and constipation.
