Every day of the Orthodox Church is consecrated by the memory of the holy saints of God, wonderful phenomena and glorification of the icons of the Mother of God. On the holy holidays in the temples on worship, Christians glorify God, the Virgin, the heavenly army of angels and all the saints of God, reading special prayers - troparia, condaks and majesty. The troparion of the holiday reveals its essence and sings it. Kondak, singing the same event or the same sacred face, complements, develops the main theme of the troparia. Troparies and kondaki, dedicated to the saint, reveals the features of his feat, glorifying the holy life.
The structure of the calendar and its fullness makes it convenient for charters, psalmers, readers and church choir in use on the clergy during church worship.
The calendar contains new prayers approved by the Orthodox Church, in honor of the newly -verified saints. The publication is supplemented by prayers that are sung or read on Sunday and festive services.
This calendar also opens up the opportunity to each Christian to include in the daily prayer rule the reading of troparia, condaks and the majesties of the corresponding church holidays.
