Katya is a laminel, but with her grandfather"s light hand everyone calls her "golden". She writes paintings - portraits of the son of the oligarch Ivan, in whom she is secretly in love. Ivan - the spoiled Major, pretended to take care of her, promised her to take her with him to London and help to become a real artist, but only laughed at her.
