In the life of one of Elena’s best criminal reporters, the most terrible crime happens - under mysterious circumstances her mother dies. One day, the usual world of Elena collapses. She understands that she did not know her family at all-the deceased mother had a lover-Italian Donato, with whom she had a relationship 30 years ago, and her father became the main suspect in the murder.
