Alya lives in a small Primorsky town. Her lover Ivan, the son of a fisherman, really does not like her mother, besides, an enviable groom - architect Tolya Kuntsev, the son of the head of the city administration, takes care of Alei. However, nowhere to go: Alya is already pregnant from Ivan. Lovers get married, but Ivan disappears the same night, and in the morning his body is found in a burnt warehouse. Taking advantage of the situation, the mother takes out a passport for Ali without a marriage mark. Alya hides pregnancy and leaves to give birth to the village.
