The Publishing House of Director Publishing produces a new series of Klio, which is a number of publications on world history. They open a series of textbook on the history of Byzantium - "historians of Byzantium" and "historical documents and research".
An important feature of these projects is that they include complete historical documents that have survived to our days and translated into Russian collected from state acts, works of chroniclers, travelers, letters of contemporaries and many other historical and political figures. This publication is a classic monumental reader on the history of Byzantium, composed on the basis of the works of medieval historians, the works of writers-historians of the XVIII-XIX centuries, as well as fundamental research of scientists of the 20th century.
