School teacher Tatyana pulls a family on herself - an unemployed husband Nikita and little son Dima. Once she is offered to conduct literature lessons in a colony for prisoners. Tatyana warns that you need to be careful in communicating with such difficult people. But when one of them - Timur - asks the teacher to transfer the letter to his mother, a moved woman is not able to refuse.
Soon, Timur, released in amnesty, asks Tatyana about another service - to shelter him for the first time. But here a good heart does not withstand, and she lets the former prisoner into the house. However, kindness turns into a tragedy ...
