When happiness is irrevocably lost, leaving behind only a weak reflection - the time comes to despair and rash acts. Lisa, the future cook, is practiced in the sanatorium. Here she meets Matvey, a rich young man. Lisa fell in love for the first time and completely lost her head! Relations between lovers develop violently until Lisa finds out that Matvey has ... has a bride. Under the pressure of the family, Matvey has to return home, and Lisa remains with a broken heart. All that she has in memory of Matvey is a silver pendant presented to him and the secret that they are connected - Lisa is expecting a child. A neighbor Gregory in love with Lisa invites her to get married so as not to be a single mother. Lisa agrees, but very soon he begins to regret her decision.
