The retired riot police Ivan Petrovich lives in a fishing village, drives a longbox and drives local poachers. The neighbors respect him, the eldest son and daughter -in -law help the household, with his wife love and understanding. The idyll ends when a non -pound youngest son Petrovich returns to the village. Once a prodigal offspring dreamed of becoming “urban”, and now he owes a large sum to the bandits and agree to everything, if only the dad helps with difficulties. It soon turns out that the bandits have their own accounts for Petrovich - and the fisherman has no choice but to remember the old days and pick up the gun.
