Operation "Deserter" (4 episodes).
Spring 1944, occupied Belarus. As a result of the reconnaissance operation, data were received that in the square Z is a camp for prisoners of war and the Wehrmacht and SS fines. The camp is controlled by the commandant Colonel Blucher, and the young and daring captain SS Schulz helps him. But there is a third force in the camp, which does not obey anyone and inspires horror - this is Colonel SS Oscar Dirlewanger. The command of the Soviet troops decides to carry out a sabotage operation, the implementation of which previously seemed impossible, the purpose of which is neutralize Oscar Dirlewanger. The counterintelligence Alexander Gromov volunteered to lead the operation. He prepared an extremely risky operation “Deserter”, which should take place in two stages. But the war makes harsh adjustments to the group plans.
