The daughter of the famous pharmaceutical tycoon Stanislav Romanovsky Margarita is sure that they want to kill her father. She suspects her brother and sister, whom the father intends to leave without an inheritance. At the anniversary of his father, Margarita comes with a private detective Oleg, asking her to pretend to be her London friend Alex. Oleg looks at the gathered and understands that everyone can be interested in the death of the head of the family: an old friend with a mysterious companion, a young mistress and even a devoted maid. The next night after the holiday, the murder really takes place, but the victim becomes not at all Romanovsky. Who is the killer? Oleg has to unravel the fatal ball of family secrets and remove all the masks from the suspects.
