The central figure in the series is the director of the sausage workshop Alexei Alekseevich Kalach, a positive, cheerful person and not used to making all sorts of dirty tricks to people. Alexei suffered the trouble - his beloved wife was pimpling not a small money, she threw her husband and disappeared in an unknown direction. It was then that people with a very dubious reputation appear in the life of our hero and invite Kalach to participate in the presidential election, and supposedly free businessmen will do the financing of this enterprise. Obviously, the goal is to make Kalach an alternative candidate, thereby pulling the number of voters from the acting person of the authorities. The good -natured and gullible Alexei Alekseevich enters into a dangerous game without even suspecting that he became a toy in the hands of strong people.
