Furacilin powder is used for the solution preparation for external use. It is antiseptic and renders its bactericidal effect during rinsing, irrigation and applications. The product is effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Indications for use
inflammatory processes in the oral cavity (gingivitis, stomatitis),
inflammatory eye lesions (conjunctivitis, blepharitis),
boils in the external acoustic duct or acute otitis (external, medium),
osteomyelitis,
acute tonsillitis,
purulent-inflammatory processes in the joints or pleural cavities.
Use only externally. Dissolve 1 powder pack in 100 ml of hot water, or dissolve 2 powder packs in 200 ml of hot water. In the case of angina, gargling should last 5-7 minutes. Do it up to 10 times a day; each time, use 100 ml of the solution. If the procedure needs to be done to a child, parents should teach him/her how to gargle the inflamed throat properly and make sure that the kid would not swallow the solution accidentally. For very little children, who can not gargle self-dependently, their parents can treat the affected areas from a syringe. In case of inflammatory processes in the oral cavity (stomatitis, gingivitis), the solution for rinsing is prepared according to the same instructions as for the throat. The disinfecting properties of the Furacilin are well-known. It relieves effectively unpleasant symptoms of diseases and improves the patient"s condition. It is recommended to rinse the mouth with Furacilin every time before performing the next therapeutic manipulation
