Cough tablets have an expectorant effect, having a moderate irritating effect on the receptors of the gastric mucosa, reflexively increase the secretion of the bronchial glands. Alkaloids contained in the thermopsis of the thermopsis (civisine, methylcitin, pachicarpine, anagirin, thermopsin, thermopsidine) have an exciting effect on the respiratory and, in high doses, on the gomple centers. Sodium bicarbonate stimulates the secretion of the bronchial glands, helps to reduce sputum viscosity.

Indications
as part of complex therapy: tracheitis, bronchitis.

Contraindications
Increased sensitivity to the components of the drug.
peptic disease of the stomach and duodenum (in the phase of exacerbation), pregnancy, lactation, children"s age (up to 12 years).

Composition: 1 tablet: Thermopsis Lanceolaata 6.7 mg, sodium bicarbonate 250 mg. 3 tablets: Thermopsis Lanceolaata 20.1 mg, sodium bicarbonate 750 mg

Method of application and dose
inside. Adults are prescribed 1 tablet 3 times a day for 3-5 days. Children over 12 years old -1/2 -1 tablet 3 times a day for 3-5 days.

Drug interaction
adsorbents, knitting and enveloping agents can reduce the absorption of alkaloids that are part of the thermopsis in the gastrointestinal tract. Cough tablets should not be used simultaneously with drugs containing codeine and other antitussive drugs, as this complicates sputum jerking. To improve liquefaction and sputum separation, it is recommended to prescribe a plentiful warm drink
