Hibiscus tea, also known as karkade, is made by brewing dried flowers of the Sudanese rose (Hibiscus sabdariffa) from the hibiscus genus. It has a bright red or burgundy color and a sweet-tart taste.
Karkade has antiseptic properties, helps normalize body temperature, tones the body, has a choleretic effect, calms, and aids in the treatment of various illnesses. Regular consumption of this drink helps prevent vitamin deficiency. The presence of vitamin C and other natural antioxidants makes the infusion a tonic for the immune system.
Karkade with added sage has a pleasant, albeit slightly sharp smell, and helps increase mental productivity.
Sage has a strong and fresh spicy aroma with hints of camphor, pine, and green herbs, which adds a special taste to the drink.

Preparation method: steep approximately 3 teaspoons in 500 ml of hot water and let it infuse for at least 7 minutes. Adjust the strength of the drink according to your taste preferences.
