For the first time, the poem "Zoroad" is being published, written around 1850. The original manuscript of the poem is kept in the United States, in the manuscript collections of the Houghton Library at Harvard University. The mysterious author, who hid under the pseudonym "Democritus Terpinovich," remained in the history of Russian literature as the creator of one of the first science fiction novels in Russian, "Journey to the Sun," and the satirical Poshekhonsk tale "Anempodist Akepsimovich Chestonov." These works are also included in the collection.
