The textbook covers the following topics: basics of feed expertise and certification, evaluation of their quality, types of feeds and their nutritional value, feeds and feed diseases of animals, zootechnical and zoohygienic analysis of feeds, examination of feeds for general harmlessness, contamination (invasiveness) of feeds by helminths and barn pests, microbiological analysis of feeds, sanitary-mycological analysis of feeds, including toxicobiological and physicochemical methods for detecting feed toxicity and mycotoxins in it, and determination of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in feeds.
