The moral and creative ideals of Nikolai Yaroshenko were formed in the period of public lifting of the 1860s. Perhaps, with this circumstance, the artist"s desire to open sharp social contradictions, which is permeated all his work. In her best works ("Nevsky Night", "Kochegar", "concluded", "everywhere life") Yaroshenko puts long-standing, but not fully complained about the injustice of the public device, which causes a storm of criticism. But the rapid military career (by 46 years ago a resigned in the rank of General Major) made it independent of the opinion of critics and colleagues. Yaroshenko realized his destination and spoke about it not without a fraction of Paphos: I am writing what life gives me and this, and I can not pass anyone indifferent, and in the future such an art will be recorded in history
