X-ray studies in dentistry and maxillofacial surgery. Atlas

The atlas summarizes the material on the diagnostic capabilities of X-ray methods used in dentistry and maxillofacial surgery. The principles of the estimated basis of the interpretation of the X -ray image and common diagnostic errors arising when analyzing the radiographs.
The issues of the methodology of X -ray examination and the features of the X -ray -ski picture in the diagnosis of various diseases of the dentist system are highlighted. Aspects of radiation safety are presented with x -rayomatological studies.
The publication is based on the analysis of the many years of X-ray work of the author at the Federal State Budgetary Institution of the Central Scientific Research Institute of Dentistry and the Maxillofacial Surgery of the Ministry of Health of Russia, including their own experience in performing x-ray methods.
