Edwin Orr (1912-1987) was a missionary, Baptist priest, teacher, author of more than 42 books, and a true man of God, born in Ireland. He traveled extensively around the world, bringing the Good News to people of different countries. In 1935, he even visited Russia. Wherever Orr was, he urged people to fulfill God's call to pray for revival. He taught that any change begins with personal renewal. He also studied the phenomenon of spiritual awakenings, many of which were global. The author, Bishop Ayadurai Appasamy of the Church of South India, managed to tell the fascinating story of the life of this outstanding evangelist.
