The textbook is designed for children with limited health capabilities and implements the requirements of the adapted basic general education program in the subject area of 'Natural Science' in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard for students with intellectual disabilities. The main task of the educational line 'The World of Nature and Man' for grades 1-4 is the propaedeutics of teaching subjects of the natural science cycle. Students acquire initial knowledge about living and non-living nature, study simple relationships existing between nature and humans, learn to observe, analyze, interact with the surrounding world, show interest and care for living things. This educational line is based on the previously existing subject line 'Living World', the content of which has been expanded due to the inclusion of a section on society and humans in it. Special attention is paid to the development of students' life competencies and enrichment of their social experience.
