The first edition of the worldwide currency catalog in Russian and English is published according to banks and governments of foreign countries granted by the International Information Service for Banknote Identification. Annual reference publication includes information on 184 currencies of 191 countries and 49 territories of the world. Information on banknotes in appeal as of January 1, 2001 is located in the catalog in alphabetical order by the names of states and territories with a special administrative or state status. The country"s certificate includes the full official name of states and territories, the indication of the issuer"s bank, the official and common currency name, note on the features of the monetary circulation in the country and its possessions, or associations of several states. Banknotes are executed in color indicating elements of protection against fakes. The currency derived from the appeal as of January 1, 2001 are presented in the second part of the reference book
