The seventh volume of the series "Complete collection of the creations of the Holy Fathers of the Church and Church Writers in Russian Translation" is dedicated to the epistolar, poetic, gymnographic and homiletic heritage of the St. Theodore Studit (759-826) This volume contains in itself letters, the creations of hymnographic, including the texts of the Reverene Feodor of Studit from lenger triodes, Okeyjah and Minei, hymns (Kondaki), epigrams and words.
Opens the present edition of the preface of Metropolitan Omsk and Tavrichesky Vladimir. The appendix contains a number of ancient texts that are important and narrative about the era, the life and activities of the Rev. Feodor of Studit.
Texts of the works of the Rev. Theodore Studit are accompanied by theological, church-historical and textual comments. At the end of the book, a signpost of a quote from the Holy Scriptures, as well as the name, geographical and subject pointers, is placed. The editors hoped that this publication would attract the attention of teachers and students of spiritual educational institutions and just a thoughtful Orthodox reader who was not indifferent to the patristic heritage and its integral component - the creations of the Rev.
