The collection is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Alexander Borisovich Penkovsky, whose multifaceted scientific activity hugs many areas of linguistics and philology, from dialectology and phonetics to semantics of adventure, artistic anthroponymics, Pushkin"s dictionary and Pushkin era. The variety of issues of published articles reflects the breadth of the scientific interests of the jubilee. It is dictated by the structural-thematic partition of sections: the word and meaning, the study of artistic text and poetics, semiotics and hermeneutics, grammar and semantics, phonetics and dialectology. The book as a whole represents a wide range of copyright concepts, many of which, according to the authors themselves, were stimulated by the works and reports of A. Benkovsky. In accordance with the wishes of the authors, the texts of articles are published in the author"s edition
