Unexpectedly, fate, as if eavesdropping on her thoughts, takes a sharp turn - sending her to Enska, a poor, impoverished town where her childhood and youth passed and from where she fled, leaving everything behind: a comfortable life, clothes, jewelry, and - her husband. Handsome Gera Soldat, a local criminal authority. But the past does not let itself be forgotten. Years later, Vera comes to Enska on business, and unexpectedly here, in this hated town, fate throws her a chance not only to drastically change her life, but also to fill it with meaning.
