Felix is at the peak of his career. He is a successful director and curator of a theater festival. When, due to the machinations of his enemies, his former colleagues, Felix loses his position, he is forced to move to a remote area in Canada to heal his wounds, talk to the ghost of his deceased daughter Miranda, and plot his revenge. The local prison offers Felix the opportunity to teach the inmates, and Felix returns to an unrealized plan from the past: to stage a radically new version of Shakespeare's "The Tempest."
