It has been ten years since the war between the true mages and witches, whose power comes from 'ita', ended. 'Ita' or fairy dust grants magical power to those who accept it, but it destroys the body and accelerates aging. However, giving it up is not easy. Nathaniel is a former witch of the Magistracy army, who is trying to find her place in the new world. She works as a guard, and her life compared to others like her can be considered almost prosperous. This continues until she receives a mission to find in the castle dungeon her old combat friend, the last surviving mage. Nathaniel infiltrates the castle and helps the mage escape, hiding him at her home and gradually trying to help him cope with the consequences of captivity. The more she learns about the mage, the less she wants to hand him over to her superiors - Nathaniel gradually realizes that Ren, the sorcerer she saved, will become a weapon in the hands of those who once unleashed this war. The situation is further complicated by the fact that Ren and Nata fall in love with each other.
