Anastasia Afanasyeva managed to do, it would seem impossible for Russian poetry - to create a personal version of the socio-philosophical lyrics, originally liberated from painful reflection on the topics of power and state. Numerous characters, sometimes by whole crowds inhabiting her poems, are located on the same metaphysical level as the author: each of them can be looked into the eyes and join the dialogue. The most important in its works becomes wrong and low-interest participants in the events.
