This edition presents the early novels of Dostoevsky: "White Nights" (1848) and "Netochka Nevvanov" (1849-1860) If in the first work (the novel of the lovers) such a timely and today the problem of alienation is raised, then in the second the question is: is the human nature initially cruel.
We can safely say that the "White Nights" and the Netochka Nezovanov are the most poetic works of Dostoevsky. The book is completed by I. Annensky"s essay about Dostoevsky
