"White Guard" is the first major work of Mikhail Bulgakov, one of the best in his creative heritage. This edition presents the scientifically prepared text of the novel, restored by prominent publications. At the same time, the appearance stipulated by the author is completely reproduced peculiar visual graphics techniques, features of the set. To make it easier to navigate the reader to navigate in plot topography, a complete map of Kyiv began the beginning of the XX century.
White Guard has a difficult creative history - in fact the book was created about ten years. Along with the final text, fragments of early editions are posted in this publication, helping to present the dynamics of the plan.
