Anastasia Allen has been striving for her cherished goal her whole life - to make it into the US national team. It seems like everything is going according to plan when she receives a scholarship to Maple Hills in the California University and a spot on the figure skating team.
But her path is crossed by Nate Hawkins, the captain of the hockey team, with whom she is forced to share not only training time, but also the ice.
Nate, as the captain, is focused on the success of his team. This becomes especially difficult when they are forced to train with the figure skating team due to a malfunction - including Anastasia, who clearly can't stand hockey players.
By chance, Nate and Anastasia end up together.
The only thing that unites them is the ice and the goal they are both willing to pursue, no matter what. Or is there more in common between the figure skater and the hockey player than everyone thinks?..
