In the book, published in accordance with the plan for fundamental studies of the Russian Academy of Education 2008-2012, reflected the emergence and main stages of the formation of a confessional oriented topic in textbooks for initial learning of literature, starting from the period of printed crop approval before the children-center approach to the textbook. The publication is intended for the system of senior pedagogical education and all interested in the issues of education history.
