The book opens a series dedicated to the arming of the Russian army of the period of the First World War. It tells about rifles and carbines used in the Russian army in 1914-1917. For each sample, a brief history of its creation and adoption is also described, as well as the main changes to which the system was subjected to continued its release. It is described in detail about the use of weapons in the troops, about its merits and disadvantages in the eyes of contemporaries. In addition, the book describes a number of experimental samples of weapons who have not received in troops, without which the reader"s level of development of the Russian weapon-technical thought of the beginning of the 20th century would be incomplete.
