The reader is invited to continue the first in the history of specialized printed labor dedicated to the armament of the Russian army of the period of the First World War. This book, as well as the previous one, is written above all from the point of view of those who had to fight with this weapon - soldiers and officers of the Russian army of the beginning of the twentieth century. In the domestic practice, an attempt to describe this kind undertaken for the first time. Thanks to this, the book will be useful to specialists-historians, artists in the costume, military historical reconstructors, as well as anyone interested in the history of the Russian Army 1914-1917.
In the second book of the series, it is described about machine guns, automatic rifles, pistols and revolvers, as those who are in service with the Russian army 1914-1917, and not officially in service, but used in the troops: outdated domestic and foreign systems, Burned from allies or captured as trophies. A special place in the book is a description of the experimental automatic weapons systems, without which the reader"s performance of the domestic weapon-technical thought of the beginning of the twentieth century would be incomplete.
For each sample described in the book, a brief history of its creation and adoption is given, covered the main changes that the system has undergone its release. Much attention is paid to the use of weapons in the troops, its advantages and disadvantages in the eyes of a soldier. For the first time in domestic practice, it is very detailed to describe the objects of the material part of machine guns, in particular, machines, wagons and binding devices.
