Why many educated people in Germany in Germany in 1930-40s at best did not silently approved, and some openly supported the fascist regime, genocide, aggression. Modern children separated from the war is no longer one generation, can not imagine how this can happen. To explain to their students of the older school, which supported fascism in Germany, the history teacher Ben Ross begins in its class the experiment - creates a movement called the wave. With the striking submission, students are included in the game. The teacher himself begins to feel how the role of the leader of the movement is penetrated. A week later, the usual school turns into a small totalitarian republic, many teachers, students and their parents support the undertaking - after all, the children became such disciplined, it became easier to work with it. And the disagreements should be subjected to re-education ... The book of the American writer Toda Strasser is based on real events - teachers called Ron Jones, he taught the story of Gordon Hai Skull, in California, in the city where representatives of the US scientific elite reside, the experiment itself was held in 1967 . The speed with which he gained momentum and became popular among students and teachers, their willingness to follow foreign solutions was a shock for American society. Only units refused to take part in it. Actually, the readiness of the rapidly flattened disciples to punish dissent of the teacher himself and forced him to interrupt the experiment. In 1981, the Wave television series was removed in the United States, in 2008 the eponymed film was removed in Germany. Despite the fact that since the real history has passed more than 40 years, the topic remains relevant. The authors of the book, movies, and the participants of this story, as it were, tell us - the danger beside, it is laid within us, we must be very honest first of all with themselves. This is especially important for adolescents whose age makes them extremely vulnerable for the most different kind of manipulations
