England, 1461, the height of the war of the scarlet and white roses. After a crushing defeat in the battle at the castle of the sandalwood, the York army was practically scattered. The army of Lancaster, triumphantly advancing, repulsed King Henry from captivity and went to the walls of London. But the impregnable fortress city did not open its gate in front of the banners with a scarlet rose. And then Count Richard Waror, one of the leaders of the York forces, decided to go to a step that was not seen in England: with a living king, to proclaim another monarch - the Duke of Edward York. This is a real ruler - a young, powerful, skillful and frantic warrior, people will follow him who hate and despise the weak -minded King Henry. Finally, he is from the Plantagenet dynasty, which means that he is on the right of blood on his side. Crowning it is the best solution for the country. But, as it turned out, not for Warurik himself
