This book-version is the fruit of the study and comparison of materials obtained in the course of familiarization with the memories of eyewitnesses of the Katyn tragedy, journalistic articles and books of different years, information of the commissions that investigated both versions and declassified archival data.
There were no doubts about the Khrushchev-Gorbachevsky-Yeltsin interpretations of events in Smolensk region with the execution of Polish officers not by the Nazis, but the authorities of the NKVD forced the author to show the to the tortured reader and another truth. It is recognized by the US Congress, the World Red Cross and World Purpose.
