The autobiographical book of the Russian-American Writer Maxim D. Shrara was written in English and reached in the United States in 2007 called & quot, Waiting for America & Quot,. In the summer of 1987, a twenty-year-old young man, the main hero of the book, leaves Moscow along with his parents and emigrates to the West. The past of the Jewish family was fitted in five baggage suitcases. Behind - years of refusal, ahead is complete unknown. When the aircraft from Moscow landed in Vienna, a new life began for the former Soviet citizens. Emigration frightened and amazed at the same time. Three months spent in Austria and Italy, waiting for an American visa, turned to the hero and the entire respective family at the present adventure on the way to the long-awaited America
