Peter Vladimirovich Alabin is a Russian state and public figure, a military writer and a journalist, a valid Stach adviser, an honorary citizen of Vyatki, Samara and Sofia. He was a member and chronicler of four wars of his time: the Hungarian campaign of 1849, the Danube campaign of 1853, passed the whole Crimean war, participated in the famous and tragic inkerman who wrapped in a monstrous catastrophe. In 1877-1878, Alabin was in Bulgaria, during the liberation war with Turkey, where Prince Cherkasy was put by the Governor of Sofia (the first in its history after the 500-year-old Turkish yoke) It was at the grand princes of Romanov who handed the Bulgarian People"s Army to the Samara banner who was stitched by nuns of the Iverly Monastery. But Samara became the main thing about his life. It was with him that she flourished and became a large Volga city - the real border of the Fatherland. Alabine built the city literally with his own hands and was the most famous urban head of Samara
