His life was divided with emigration from the Bolshevik Russia first to Europe, then in the United States. The brilliant writer, Nabokov took place both as a Russian writer in exile, and as an American writer writing in English. He is one of the few, if neither the only one who managed to succeed on the side of the Atlantic. The whole life of Nabokov is an infinite journey in the world.
