The notebook "Visual Geometry" for the 4th grade is a continuation of notebooks with the same name for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. Completing the tasks in the notebook helps fourth graders develop an understanding of the cylinder, cone, and sphere as bodies of rotation obtained by rotating a flat figure around an axis, the relationship between flat and solid geometric figures, improving skills in reading graphical information, and representing spatial figures on a plane. According to the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for General Education, the notebook is recommended for organizing extracurricular activities in the directions of intellectual and socio-cultural development within the subject area of "Mathematics and Informatics." A plan for extracurricular activities and recommendations for their implementation are provided in the guide "Methodological Recommendations for the Notebooks 'Visual Geometry' for Grades 1-4" (authors N.B. Istomina, S.B. Redko, E.N. Kozhevnikova). 2nd edition, stereotyped.
