Composition: Balsamic liniment (according to Vishnevsky) contains: birch tar, xeroform, castor oil or cod liver oil, aerosil. Pharmacological properties: Combined preparation for external use. It has antiseptic and locally irritating effects, accelerates regeneration processes. It also has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects in arthritis and rheumatism, and has an unpleasant, characteristic, and easily recognizable odor. Indications for use: - joint inflammation - arthritis - lymphadenitis - frostbite - wet calluses - skin abscess - boil - burns - frostbite - wounds (ulcers, bedsores) Method of application and dosage: Used in the form of ointment applications. Apply a thin layer to the affected area or apply a bandage with 5-6 layers of gauze with liniment, 2 times a day for 10-12 days. Side effects: - allergic reactions - with prolonged use: skin irritation Contraindications: Individual intolerance to the drug. In case of side effects, it is necessary to discontinue the use of the drug.
