What is virtual reality? Wearing a helmet display on the head, viewing stereoscopic 3D scenes, the ability to look around, turning the head, moving sent by manual control elements or attached sensors, complete immersion. In turn, Unity is a powerful gaming engine to create its own VR applications and translation to a new dimension of your interactive interaction with games.
This book will allow you to master the development of virtual reality in Unity. You will learn how to use Unity to develop VR applications that support devices such as Oculus Rift and Google Cardboard, allow you to interact with virtual worlds. The book will tell you how to create a number of interesting and occasional VR projects. You will learn to control the Unity 3D game engine using the Unity Editor and Scripts on C #. By the end of the book, you can create a number of multifunctional interactive examples of perception of virtual reality using Unity.
What you will learn by reading this book:
- Creating 3D scenes using Unity and Blender, global space and scaling,
- assembly and launch of VR applications for specific headsets, such as Oculus Rift and Google Cardboard,
- Experimentation with various user interface methods (UL) that you can use in your own VR applications,
- Implementation of perception from the first and third person, using only head gestures for entering
- Building with an unity engine interactive media with support for physics, gravity, animation and lighting,
- Creating animated walks, use of media content with a review of 360 degrees and the implementation of multiplayer virtual reality,
- familiarity with the technological and psychological aspects of VR, including the best ways to display and prevent VR-tech,
- Learning to work with Unity components and C # programming
