The work on this book took two years. The research process involved creating a massive database for each album, simultaneously identifying existing differences in cover versions, labels, sleeves, matrix numbers, etc. The database was compiled from both the internet (auctions and their archives, forums, private stores) and through personal visits to local stores and private collectors who kindly provided their collections for research. The data for each album was then processed separately, and all identified versions were arranged in chronological order. The basis for determining the chronology is the analysis of matrix and stamp combinations, as well as many additional features (knowledge base for which was previously developed)
