Vetana. The gift of death.

Healing people is the calling of a mage of life. But to make them better? Even the Light cannot do that. And one has to heal everyone. Thieves, murderers, the poor, aristocrats... Without distinguishing who is good and who is bad. And human gratitude varies as well. Someone will give their last, someone will just say thank you, and someone will start thinking about how to use the healer for their own purposes. Or, more nobly, for the country's and the Crown's interests. And those are the most difficult to deal with. Vetana cannot refuse their help. The danger from the past catches up with the girl, and only those who possess power and might can protect her. But what will have to be paid for their help?
