Venerable Seraphim Vyritsky (Muravyov, 1866-1949) was a great elder who became famous for many spiritual gifts: insight, miracles, and healing of diseases. The biography of the saint is based on the memories of people who knew him. The book also includes stories about some of the spiritual children of the servant of God. The spiritual testament of Elder Seraphim, "It was from Me," may be one of the most vivid testimonies of the greatness of the spirit of ascetics, whose prayers saved Russia and its people during times of trials. This edition is supplemented with new stories about the grace-filled help of the elder and about the veneration of him in his native lands in the Yaroslavl region, where the childhood years of the venerable one passed.
