Venerable Maximus the Greek. Selected Works

The book that we want to imagine is published by the publishing house Blagovest and contains some of the writings of the famous Orthodox Saint, writer, an exeget of Maxim Grek. He was truly the Greek by birth, but in 1516, according to the call of the Russian Grand Duke, he arrived in Russia and since then his name has been firmly entered into the history of Russian Orthodoxy and Russian history. He made a lot of translation into Russian in the Russian language of various sacred and spiritual books, and also wrote quite a lot of dogmatic works, creations, exposing heresy and superstitions that existed at the time (and now sometimes there are still), as well as simply having spiritual moral content. Some of them just entered this collection. The Book with the teachings of the Holy Maxim of Greek will be useful as people with the newcomer, just still making the first steps in acquaintance with Orthodoxy, and all those who already have some experience of Orthodox life and want to follow in their spiritual cultivation
