Makariya Altai, and the history of the Altai spiritual mission founded by him, opens a series of "spiritual heritage of Russian Orthodox missionaries", which the Center for Missionary Studies is preparing for the press. It is based on the biographical dictionary of missionaries of the Russian Orthodox Church, published in 2004
